Our Walk‑In Clinic provides same‑day assessment and treatment by our experienced Nurse Practitioner. It is open to everyone, not just Glengarry Medical Group patients.
This service is ideal for straightforward, non‑urgent health concerns that need timely attention.

No bookings required. Patients present to reception and are triaged by the team
WHAT WE CAN TREAT
Suitable presentations include:

Sick notes
-
Minor infections (sore throat, ear infection, UTI symptoms)

Coughs, colds, mild respiratory symptoms

Simple wounds, minor injuries, sprains

Medication scripts or repeats where clinically appropriate

No Schedule 8 medications, benzodiazepines, or sleeping tablets will

BILLING
All Walk-In Clinic consultations are privately billed without exception. Medicarerebates may apply depending on the service.

Short consult (simple issue): $50

Standard consult: $85

Long Consult $140

Additional charges may apply if your treatment requires additional staffing, Nurse, treatment room time and/or consumables (such as bandages)
Patients with complex concerns will be asked to book a separate appointment, as these presentations require a longer consultation than is available during the walk-in clinic opening times.
How the Walk‑In Clinic Works

Simply come to Glengarry Medical Group (57 Arnisdale Road Duncraig)
during clinic hours and advise reception you would like a walk-in appointment -
Patients are triaged and seen according to clinical urgency, not arrival order.
This means that you may have to wait to be seen. -
The team will determine whether your concern can be safely managed in the
clinic -
If your condition requires GP, urgent care, or hospital management, you will
be redirected appropriately
WHAT WE CANNOT TREAT
This clinic is not an urgent care or emergency service.

Chest pain or breathing difficulty

Abdominal pain

Major injuries or fractures

Head injuries

Severe allergic reactions

Burns

Heavy bleeding

Suspected stroke

Mental health crises
